§   Minor Passport Validity:

Five years

What would be the validity of a minor's passport? A: The validity of a minor's passport is restricted to five years or till they attain the age of 18, ehichever is earlier.

§   How long is minor passport valid?

5 years

If you were age 16 or older when your passport was issued, your passport is valid for 10 years. If you were under 16 when your passport was issued, your passport is valid for 5 years.

§   How often do minors have to renew passport?

For children aged 15 and under, passports are valid for 5 years. Children aged 16 and 17 years will be issued with 10-year passports.
