Passport police verification failed:

If it was rejected due to failure of police verification or improper documentation, etc. you can correct the mistake and apply again after 3 days. If you are at odds with the reason for rejection, or if the reasons are not clear, you can write to the RPO or register a grivence. 


Which case is not required for police verification for passport?

Police verification is not done for re-issuance of a passport, unless the circumstances of the applicant have changed or the passport is being re-issued on account of it being lost of stolen. The police verification stage is an important security measure with regard to the issuance of passports in India. 


What disqualifies a passport?

One reason that a passport may be denied is if a person has a criminal arrest warrant outstanding, is on probation or parole, or if there is a court order that prohibits the person from leaving the United States. ...A misdemeanor drug conviction should not prevent a passport from being issued.
