What are pages in passport?

 A normal passport that contains 36 pages cost 1500 INR, and lasts for 10 years. Whereas, Jumbo passport cost is 2000 INR and you get a 60 pages booklet for 10n year. It is important to note here that for children below 18 years of age, a 36 page passport is valid only for 5 years and costs only 1000 INR. 


What is the use of pages in passport ?

Of pages on which visas, entries and exits are stamped, you want in your passport. In a 36 page Passport booklet, only 33 pages are usable and similarly, in a 60 page Passport booklet only 57 pages are usable for stamping. Other countries, like the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, etc.


What is the first page of passport?

The information page of the passport records basic information about the passport: its bearer's surname, given names, photo and date and place of birth, validity period, issuing authority, place of issue and passport number, and the dates the passport was issued and will expire.
