Blue Passport


Blue passports are generally issued to the general population. The colour is used for easy identification among other passports with official status. Generally navy blue in colour, such passports are issued for ordinary travel such as business trips or vacations.
Why does India have blue passport?
The common man of india is issued the-coloured passport. This helps the custom, immigration officials and other authorities abroad distinguish between the common man and government officials of India holding high ranks. Of the different types of passport, the white passport is the most powerful one.
What is the use of blue passport?
Blue passports are also common among Caribbean countries and U.S. Territories, like Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Many South American conutries also distribute passports with blue covers to their citizens. Many Islamic countries choose green for religious purposes.
