As a result, 236 'Post Office Passport Seava Kendras' (POPSKs) have been operationalised to date and many more are in the pipeline. This, when added to 36 passport offices and 93 erstwhile 'passport Seva kendras' , makes a total of 365 passport offices foe public. 


How Many Passport centers are there in India ? 

81 PSKs

Passport Offices in India are known as Passport seva Kendras (PSKs). As of 2015, The Ministry of External Affairs operated 81 PSKs in major cities and these PSK's are administrated by 37 Regionnal passport Offices. The ministry has also setup 11 mini Passport Seava laghu Kendras. 


Are passport offices open during lockdown ?

Due to the Coronavirus COVID 19 situation the Passport Offices in London will closed until further notice, althrough the team are continuing to answer urgent queries.


How do I choose a passport office ?

 Applicants can now choose any Regional Passport Office (RPO) of their choice and send in their applicants to the desired Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/ Post Office Passport Seva kendra (POPSK) under that RPO. This is Irrespective of an indiviual's permanent residential address.
