Passport Delivery Rules:

According to the rules, an applicant's passport has to be dispatched only to the address that he or she mentions in the application form. However, if the address changes, unfortunately, he or she has to update the current address with a valid proof.


What if I an not at home when passport is delivered?

In case of absence of the applicant, it is at the discretion of the postman to hand over the envelope to some family member of the applicant by checking their/applicant's ID proof or to return the passport to the issuing Regional Passport Office.


Do I need to be at home when my passport is delivered?

What if I an not at home on delivery attempt of my document? A signature is required for all deliveries, with a valid form of identification. Valid forms of identification are: passport, UK driving licence, national ID card, credit / debit card or utility bills.
