                           The main difference between a passport and a visa is that a passport is issued to a contry's citizen's for a international travel and identification . 

1. A passport is used to veryfy one's country of citizensip. if traveling outside your  country , it is used to regain entry into your country of citizenship . 

2. Passport include your photo , name birth date , gander and  phicical characteristics .

3. For U.S. citizens some countries only require a passport for re-entry . 
Otger countries may require a visa before a visa . 
You should confirm  a country specific - visa is required before  traveling .

4. Diplomates and govermant officials are granted diffrent passport than what's given to regular travelers .

placed within a passport that grants the holder official to enter leave or stay in a counrty for a specified time period .

3.  Some visas can require an application to be filed prior to entering the country and other visas are granted upon entering the country  .

4.  Certain counries require an interviwe or medical screeing prior to applying or a visa .
